ASA Cheerleading is a recreational program that provides participants with a basic foundation of the fundamentals of cheerleading. The purpose of this program is to encourage the highest ideals of sportsmanship while providing cheer squads for the ASA Fall Football teams. 

Cheerleading showcases these fundamental skills by participating in sideline cheer at games and an end of season Cheer Competition. We aim to provide a positive and fun learning environment that gives all participants the opportunity to learn the skills necessary to be successful.

Pre-formed squads with less than the maximum number of cheerleader may have draft cheerleaders add to their roster. If a squad does not want draft cheerleaders added, they must bring in the maximum number of cheerleaders by close of registration. 

Not all football teams will advance to a Bowl Game.

Cheerleading Uniforms are NOT included with registration. Cheerleading uniforms are typically more expensive then most other sport uniforms (softball, volleyball, etc.). Information on uniform requirements are available on our Uniforms & Equipment page.
