It’s baaaaacckk…….

For years, you have sat in the bleachers on one side of the fence, while cheering on your daughter as she had fun playing softball on the other side.  Well, it is that time once again to turn the tables and let them cheer for you.  Back again, the Parent Softball Game is coming up and we want you to be a part of it.  This season we’ll hold the game on Wednesday, November 13.  Now, this isn’t just an ordinary softball game.  It is filled with tons of laughs, a few good plays, but mostly aches and pains in the days following.

In addition to the Parent Softball Game, we’re bringing back a crowd favorite, the Parent Home Run Derby.  We’ve seen many deep fly balls bring "oohs" and "aahs" from the crowd and high-fives from the competitors.  Take 10 swings from a slow-pitch pitching machine to see just how many times you can ‘go yard’.  With both a Men’s and a Women’s Division, this event will be fun for everyone.

Wednesday, November 13,

• Parent Home Run Derby – 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm
• Parent Softball Game – Approximately 7:30 pm (after conclusion of HR Derby) - 9:00pm.

Registration for the Home Run Derby is $15 per player and will be limited to the first 10 players that register for each division.

Registration for the Parent Softball Game is $25 per player and in addition to an hour and a half of fun, each participant will receive a special t-shirt to commemorate the event.  The Parent Softball Game is open to the first 36 that register.

This co-ed slow-pitch game is open to any and all parents/siblings of an ASA player, but they must be at least 18 years of age.  No previous softball experience is needed, but a sense of humor is a must!  Come out for the music, come out for the laughter, come out so your daughter can cheer YOU on.
