Uniforms

Jersey shirts are provided with registration for the 6U T-Ball league only.  In addition, each t-ball team will be provided with 3 matching Coaches Shirts.   6U T-Ball Coaches should complete the Jersey Order Form and return it to the 6U League Director or bring to the Coaches Meeting.  The League Director will place the order with our approved jersey vendor and will deliver prior to the first scheduled game.  

All other uniform elements must be provided by the parent/guardian of the player including, but not limited to:

  • Shorts / Pants
  • Socks

Jerseys are not included with registration fee for 8U and above.  It is the responsibility of the Coaches to determine the jersey needs/requirements for their team, using reasonably priced options. ASA Softball discourages the use of player names on the back of the jersey. 

 

Equipment

All equipment must be provided by the parent/guardian of the player.  This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Cleats (no metal spikes)
  • Glove
  • Bat
  • Batting helmet with facemask and chin strap (all ages)   

ASA Softball does provide Coaches with a loaner equipment bag with various pieces of equipment to help during the season. This bag is available for a $100 deposit and can be picked up at the Coaches Meeting every season.  Checks will be returned or destroyed when the bag, with full contents, is returned at season's end.  Listed below is the current bag contents for each age division.

  • 6U - Standard bag, throw down bases, 2 bats, 1 tee, 6 practice balls
  • 8U - Standard bag, throw down bases, catcher's gear, 2 bats, 12 practice balls
  • 10U - Standard bag, throw down bases, catcher's gear, 2 bats, 12 practice balls
  • 12U - Standard bag, throw down bases, catcher's gear, 2 bats
  • 14U - Standard bag, throw down bases, catcher's gear, 2 bats

Coaches that would like to obtain a bag should complete the equipment order form prior to the coaches meeting.
