For years, you have sat in the bleachers on one side of the fence, while cheering on your daughter as she had fun playing softball on the other side. Well, it is that time once again to turn the tables and let them cheer for you. Back again, the Parent Softball Game is coming up and we want you to be a part of it. This season we’ll hold the game on Friday, Nov. 15. Now, this isn’t just an ordinary softball game. It is filled with tons of laughs, a few good plays, but mostly aches and pains in the days following. There will be games for the kids between innings and even the return of the ASA Softball Dot Race.
In addition to the Parent Softball Game, we’re bringing back a crowd favorite, the Parent Home Run Derby. We’ve seen many deep fly balls brought oohs and aahs from the crowd and high-fives from the competitors. Take 10 swings from a slow-pitch pitching machine to see just how many times you can ‘go yard’. With both a Men’s and a Women’s Division, this event will be fun for everyone. You never know, maybe you can take home the coveted Home Run Derby Trophy to put on the shelf for your friends and family to see.
Friday, Nov. 15
