ASA Baseball

We offer multiple options for kids of all ages and skill levels from the beginner to the elite level athlete.

Our Developmental 4U-6U league is for beginner players between the ages of 4-6 years old. The emphasis for this league is teaching the basics of the game of baseball.

The Recreational 7U-12U league is designed specifically for new players to baseball, players who are still developing their baseball skills or players/families who are just looking for an outlet for fun and exercise. Scores will be kept and awards given to top placing teams. ASA 50% Play time rules will apply.

The Competitive 7U-12U league is designed specifically for skilled players and teams who previously played in the recreational league and have honed their skills to the next level. This league helps to develop players/teams for tournament play. Players looking to join a competitive team may click HERE to find information on teams looking for players. Competitive leagues may be split based on competitive level of teams registering in a season and number of teams.

For our 13U and above players we offer an Intercity league. Allen teams sign up with us and if we have at least 4 teams in a league we could play those teams against each other on Allen fields or join with another local league. If we have less than 4 we will more than likely reach out to other local baseball leagues to see about merging with their teams to create a bigger league. If that route is taken we will communicate details with the teams at that time.

The Board Needs You!   The Volunteer Board is made up of volunteers, just like you. We have Head Coaches, Assistant Coaches and Parents that make up the Board and we're looking for a few more interested volunteers to help out. Volunteer Board Members participate in monthly board meetings, communicate often through email and take part in occasional topic specific meetings, all with the intent of continuing to grow the program.

If you are interested in finding out more about the Volunteer Board or feel that you can help make a difference in the program, please don't hesitate to reach out to one of the existing Board members to discuss further. Changes and growth happen because of the efforts by our many volunteers.  Please help join us in our continual effort to make ASA The Place Where Kids Come To Play.
