We are asking for your consideration in supporting our financial aid program for the various sports we provide to the children in our community. Specifically, we regularly host an ASA Charity Golf Tournament whereby all proceeds provide financial assistance to families needing help with sports registration fees for their kids.
ASA is a 501C3 non-profit organization. We have been committed for 41 years to have a venue where children can participate in a variety of sports. In fact, our motto is “Where Kids Come to Play”. Our dedicated staff and volunteers work diligently to register, organize, and assign volunteer coaches and schedule games for the various sports we offer. Presently, we have 16,273 kids involved in 10 different sports. We address the needs of recreational athletes, elite athletes, and special needs athletes. Many children would not be able to participate without financial assistance.
With that being said, we continue to provide financial assistance to those in our community that need help with their registration fees. Over the past ten years, we have been able to assist 2,426 kids with $166,872 in financial aid. We depend heavily on the proceeds from our golf tournaments and other fundraising events for this assistance.
We have had an increased number of financial aid requests and we welcome your support in the way of either participating in or being a Sponsor for our upcoming ASA Charity Golf Tournament to be held October 19 at the courses at Watters Creek. Please take a look at our sponsorship form and consider one of the various options. You can be assured that your decision to support ASA will benefit many children in our community.
